In 2026, the Centro Giacometti presents a series of exhibitions and events commemorating the 125th anniversary of Alberto Giacometti’s birth and the 60th anniversary of his death.
The program includes a photography exhibition dedicated to Alberto Giacometti in the Bregaglia Valley, Stampa, and Maloja; a video installation exploring the history of the Giacometti family of artists (in English to be prepared); and a documentary exhibition by Laurie Bischoff examining the emergence of Alberto Giacometti’s posthumous legacy.
In addition to these three exhibitions, the Centro Giacometti is relaunching the 22 docufiction films originally produced for Giacometti Art Walk®. Visitors will be able to watch the films individually on a large screen in German and Italian.

The exhibition season will continue through October 11, 2026.
The exhibitions are open daily, except Mondays and Tuesdays, from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
